Join us from 19 to 22 November on killerchesstraining.com for a new camp with Nikos Ntirlis!

When I wrote Reimagining 1.e4, the goal was simple: ambitious opening choices without drowning in unnecessary theory.

The approach was praised by players and reviewers alike. Anish Giri called the lines “poisonous, yet clean” and even admitted he was happy to “steal” one of my ideas for his own repertoire. John Watson described the recommendations as “fascinating, practical, and often ingenious,” while Matthew Sadler called the book “really impressive.”

But opening theory moves fast.

In this camp, I’ll present the new ideas, improvements and practical weapons I’m developing for the new edition of Reimagining 1.e4.

The philosophy stays the same:

Maximum practical pressure. Minimum unnecessary memorization.

New approaches. New weapons. The next version of Reimagining 1.e4.

We will look at positions where I now believe there is a better way: ideas that are fresher, easier to handle, more uncomfortable for Black, or simply more suitable for modern tournament chess.

You will learn not only what to play, but which positions matter, what needs to be memorized, what can be understood, and how to continue when your opponent leaves your preparation.

Think of this camp as a preview of the next generation of Reimagining 1.e4 — before the new repertoire reaches print.

The training will take time between 17:00 and 20:30 London time each day (9:00-12:30 California, 12:00-15:30 New York, 18:00-21:30 CET). The camp will offer you a full 12 hours of training.

The price for participating will be €148 for existing members of Killer Chess Training and €297 for everyone else (includes a month’s complimentary membership of killerchesstraining.com).

Killerchesstraining.com offers daily lessons and about 9-14 lessons each week, on openings, middlegame and endgames, as well as analysis of games and two weekly homework assignments.

For yearly and monthly members, please log in and you will get this camp at €148.
For non-members: If wish to just attend the camp and get only a membership for one month, add this product to your basket. We will contact you to add manually the monthly membership to your account, which has to include in full the dates for the camp.
