Converting the Advantage – The Art of Winning Won Positions

Schedule: February 20-23, 17:00-20:30 UK time (9:00-12:30 California, 12:00-15:30 New York, 18:00-21:30 CET)

n this four-day camp, Ivan Sokolov will go through the psychology and the practicality of playing positions with reversed colours, such as the Sicilian Dragon (the English), Reversed Benoni, King’s Indian Attack and other variations.

Grandmaster Ivan Sokolov was one of the leading players of his generation. He played against the best players of the World and is one of only few players to ever beat Kasparov in a classical game. Since becoming a full-time trainer, he has developed a lot of Iranian grandmasters, most notably Firouzja, and taken Uzbekistan to winning the most sensational Olympic Gold of all time, and also to win Silver at the World Team Championship, despite the absence of their strongest player. Since then he has changed to being the national coach of the Romanian Federation.

The camp will take place early evenings 20-23 February, with 3 one hour lessons and two breaks of 15 minutes in-between each day. It will offer you a full 12 hours of training.
