There is not much changed since the 2020 course Advanced Calculation – except that this course is based primarily on new material.

There are many skills in chess. No one is a master of them all, but few are as important as the ability to be able to calculate variations accurately calmly and quickly. Even top players struggle with this. And although it is impossible to perfect this skill, it is possible to improve it immensely.

This is the second time we run this course. Jacob has deliberately kept the session titles from the first course in 2020. As most members of the academy have not been members for three years, Jacob has decided to use the most instructive examples from his files, rather than worrying too much if a few of them have been shown before in academy classes.
