We hope you have been enjoying the extra classes we have added for you so far. IM Andras Toth returns this week for a Thinking Aloud session with Jacob. It will happen on Wednesday, from 10 PM UK time.
Tiger has just started his new course on the Stonewall Structure. Karthik is back with more Game of the Week sessions this month.
Stany is leading the 1st Kuwait International Chess Festival Masters Open. At the time you will receive this, he will already be playing the last round. You can ask him more about his tournament on Friday, when he will return with Tricky Positions.
We are having an in-person event between 3-16 of May 2025 in Roquetas de Mar, Spain! First, there will be a camp. It will start on the 3rd and end on the 9th. Your trainers will be GM Jacob Aagaard, GM Julen Arizmendi and GM Renier Castellanos. A detailed training schedule is available on the website, but the promise more than 30 hours of chess! They will hopefully be combined with some sun and beach, as the resort where we will host it is right across the sea.
Starting the 10th, we will have the 2nd Killer Chess Training Open. More details will follow soon on the website, here.
The European Women Individual Blitz & Rapid Chess Championship has just ended in Monaco. Congratulations to our member Alexandra Kosteniuk for finishing 3rd in the blitz tournament!
Mayukh went from 2013 to 2300 in the last 2 tournaments that he played! Only in the 15th Chennai Open he added no less than 200 rating points!
Arshiya also did well in the Chennai Open and added another 26 points to her rating. She is now playing the Late Shri Manohar Parrikar Goa International Open. Good luck!
