We have a new IM in the academy! In December, Thibault Dudognon completed his last IM norm in the Sunway Sitges Open. This is the last requirement that he needed in order to get the title. Congratulations, Thibault, we hope to see you become a GM soon!
Kirk shared 2nd in the Hastings Tournament.
Robert Fischer finished undefeated, with 6.5 points out of eight, gaining 34 rating points in the U2200 section of the Eastern Open. This brought him the 1st over 50 prize.
Renier, Raluca and other academy members just finished playing in Roquetas de Mar. Renier and Raluca weren’t there just for the tournament, but they have been also inspecting the venue for our upcoming in person camp and 2nd edition of the KCT Open! The dates will be from 3rd to 16th of May. The camp will happen between the 3rd and the 9th. The tournament will have the 1st round on the 10th of May.
Our event will take place in a fantastic 4 star all-inclusive location, just opposite the beach. Bring your family and enjoy our chess and holiday event!

Tiger is back in the academy after a long summer break. We know many of you have missed him! He has just started a new course, on the Stonewall Structure.
We are pleased to announce a new addition to our coaches team! IM Andras Toth will start working with us and more information about his course will be available soon.
