The 2024 Rapid Club Championship is over. Thank you all for participating and we hope you had a great time training and interactive with other academy members. After 6 heats we have our finalists!
The overall winner was arlYonok, followed by RisingDragon2. They will play their match today, 14th of October, from 5 PM UK time. The match will consist of 4 rapid games. If tied after the rapid games, they will play a blitz play-off (2 blitz games; if still tied, the first one to win a game wins the match). Tune in today and follow them to watch their match!
In the U2100 category, the final will be played between Chessboy132432 and Vijaya1. Once they decide on a day and time to play the match, we will put it up in the calendar so everyone can follow.
The camp with GM Mykhaylo Oleksiyenko will start next Monday, 21st of October. You can still purchase your participation ticket here. Or become a yearly member and get this camp as a gift here.
GM Karthik Venkataraman will return this week in the schedule with another Game of the Week session. He is fresh from winning Tsaghkadzor Open .
Julen is playing in the Spanish League in Melilla.
Arshiya and a few other Academy members have been playing in the National Women Chess Championship.
