Just a reminder for the new members – in the Your Academy section of the website we have a number of videos that show how to get around the academy, join our lichess teams and use Chesstempo. You can also find more information about the homework club, as well as some free material.
For yearly members, we offer a complimentary gold Chesstempo membership, as well as access to the academy files on Chesstempo. If you are a yearly member, please remember to add kct academy as a coach (see the Your Academy section) and send us your Chesstempo username.
The European Junior Chess Championship is over and we have wonderful news: Yahli is the new European Junior Champion! After a more timid start, he pushed through the last three rounds to score 3/3 and finish clear first, with 7/9 points. Congratulations, Yahli, we are incredibly proud!
Arshiya and a few other current and former members are playing Kanizsa Open, in Hungary.
The Spanish Individual Championship started yesterday in Linares. Good luck to our members and friends Miguel Alvarez and Alejandro Domingo! You can watch all games here.
Eli and a few other members will play in Sants, Barcelona.
