Apologies for the delay in making the file from Nikos’ camp available on Chesstempo. Nikos needed some more time to finish polishing it and has promised to send it in a day or two.
There have been two changes in the initial schedule for this week. Jacob is travelling and had to cancel his High Level Practical Training class that was scheduled for Wednesday, the 8th of October. A new class has been added on Sunday at 4 PM UK time. GM Renier Castellanos will host a session where he will show The Three Questions in Action.
A reminder that GM Mykhaylo Oleksiyenko’s class will happen again from 8 PM UK time this Friday.
We will have a new online camp with GM Swayams in November, on defense. The camp will happen between the 6th and the 9th of November and will include a total of 12 hours. The recordings of the camp will be made available to everyone who will buy the camp or receive it as a welcome gift.
New yearly members and renewals between the 25th of September and the 6th of November will receive this camp for free, as a welcome gift. Everyone else who wants to participate can purchase the camp in our shop. If you are a member, remember to log in to your account to get the camp at a discounted price!

We will have an in-person camp again in 2026. The dates are 17-24 of May, in the 4* resort Zoraida Garden in Roquetas de Mar, Spain. Your trainers will be GM Jacob Aagaard, GM Renier Castellanos and GM Julen Arizmendi. The camp will be open to both members and non-members of the academy. More information, as well the sign-up form will very soon be available on our website.
Grupo de Xadrez Alekhine is organizing a 10 player round robin tournament for IM norms in Lisbon, Portugal, from the 27th of October to the 2nd of November.
They are searching for potential IM norm seekers with +2300 ELO.

Jude Shearsby’s hard work paid off and he has recently crossed the 2300 mark. Congratulations to him for achieving the FM title and best of luck for becoming an IM soon!
Steve Dishman and Thorsten Cmiel played the European Seniors Championship in Rabac. They both had a good tournament and ended with a rating plus.
Part of the Killer Chess Training team (Sabino, Mykhaylo and Raluca), as well as a few members (Yahli Sokolovsky and Alexandra Kosteniuk, among others) are in Batumi, for the European Team Championship.
Sam Shankland will play the US Chess Championship starting the 12th of October. Good luck to him!
