As you probably know, GM Jacob Aagaard will hold an online camp that will be free from all members between the 14th and 18th of July. During this week, you will also get the chance to solve new exercises, all inspired from Tal’s games. Jacob has prepared a pdf file that is now available on the camp’s page.Â
Between the 14th and 18th of July, the summer homework club will consist of the 12 exercises that Jacob wiill go through every day. The positions are taken from miniature games Tal won. None of them are marked. The idea is that you solve as far as you can in advance of the class and Jacob will go through the solutions in class – like with Homework Club. If you get stuck, that’s OK. You do not have to solve all of the positions to participate in the class.
In August, GM Sabino Brunello will have an online camp on Closed Positions. It will be between the 25th and 29th of August and will include 12.5 hours of classes. You can find more details about the camp here.
The camp will be free for all members who purchased a new yearly membership or renewed their old one after our last online camp in February.
