As you remember, Tiger had to cancel his last class, as he was feeling unwell. Unfortunately, the flu he caught caused him to lose his voice temporarily, so there will be no Stonewall class tomorrow either.
Now, onto the good news! GM Boris Gelfand will start a course in the academy. He will have the first class this Saturday, 22nd of March, from 2 PM UK time.
As you already know, we are organising a camp and a tournament in Spain! We are offering discounts for groups of 3 or more people who want to attend the camp. E-mail [email protected] to learn all the details.
The camp will take place in Roquetas de Mar, Spain, from 3rd until 9th of May and is open to everyone. Your trainers will be GM Jacob Aagaard, GM Julen Arizmendi and GM Renier Castellanos. Check out our website for all the details!
After the camp we will have an international open. You don’t have to be a member of the academy to participate and there is no rating limit. Round 1 is scheduled to begin on the 10th. The tournaments will have 9 rounds and it will be possible to get norms. Full regulations are available on our website.

Renier, Sabino and many members of the Academy are playing in the European Individual Championship in Eforie Nord, Romania. You can follow everyone here. Mykhaylo was also on the starting list, but he got sick right before the tournament and couldn’t travel. He will be back in the Academy though with another Practical Endgames class this Friday.
