The Ivan Sokolov camp is over. I hope you all enjoyed it!
We have one ace up our sleeve. We have not been too active in our LiChess club for a while. The summer and logistical issues were the main cause. So, we decided to return with something special. We have managed to secure a simul with Board 1 of the Uzbek Olympiad winning team on October 7th, GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov at 17:00 UK time.
If you want to participate in the simul, please ask to join our simul team on lichess, giving your name and your membership email in the application. Only sign up if you will be available to play. The team will be cleared after the simul. THIS IS THE SIGN-UP PROCESS. Don’t sign up with the intention to play something in the future. Applying to join the team is signing up for THIS SIMUL.
Lots of people are playing in tournaments. Today we notice that our friend and trainer Ivan Cheparinov has crossed 2700! It is not the first time this has happened, but this does not make it less of an achievement. Ivan is now no 38 in the world.
