Christopher and Ryo are competing in the Americas Qualifier for chess.com‘s Junior Speed Chess Championship today at 1:00pm Pacific. It’s an 8-player knockout playoff to select one North or South American junior to advance to the world finals. You can watch the qualifier on chess.com or twitch.tv/chess. Christopher warmed up by playing in the big (140+ players) blitz tournament at the National Open in Vegas and finished in a four-way tie for second!
